Why is the first session free? And what to expect in the first session?
Why is the first session free?
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to get to know their provider before committing to services. When searching for a mental health professional, life coach, or counselor, it can be overwhelming, and not every provider is the right fit. From my own experience, I understand that shopping for a counselor can sometimes lead to financial strain.
That’s why I offer the first session for free — it gives us the chance to connect without the financial pressure and helps us determine if we’re a good match.
What to expect in the first session:
A discussion to understand your needs and goals.
An opportunity to get to know each other and assess if we’re a good fit, or if I can refer you to another provider who might better suit your needs.
A clear explanation of the services offered at Clarity With Jadivan and how they align with your goals.
An outline of your service plan and the steps forward.
A chance to address any concerns or questions you may have.
An introduction to scheduling and the start of your services.
I believe everyone deserves access to care, regardless of background or finances. Support should be a right, not a privilege. Therefore, if cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss sliding scale options.
*This is subject to the funding and/or pro-bono hours available. **The sliding scale rate is valid for 12 sessions or a period of 3 months whichever comes first.
