Some people may assert that parenting is a natural skill inherent from birth. However, in this era marked by technology, social media, and boundless opportunities, providing care and support for a child proves to be a challenging endeavor. Jadivan is here to accompany you on this journey, whether your child exhibits impulsive behaviors, emotional complexities, limited attention span, frequent distractions, deficient academic skills, or underdeveloped social interactions.
Both you and your child are doing your utmost, based on the knowledge you possess, with an aspiration for improvement. Therefore, in the realm of parents' and caregivers' coaching and guidance, Jadivan extends an invitation for you to become an integral part of the solution. It is imperative to recognize that neither the child nor you constitutes the problem; rather, you both contribute to the solution.
Central to this approach is awareness. Together, we will delve into the needs of the youth, discern the origins and ramifications of these challenges, and define desired results and outcomes. We will analyze current approaches, previous attempts, and collaboratively pinpoint tools, skills, and strategies that caregivers and families can employ to facilitate the desired behaviors and outcomes. Of utmost importance is our joint effort to strengthen the relationship between the youth and their caregiver(s).
This endeavor will be realized through a series of distinct sessions, including one-on-one sessions with the caregiver(s), one-on-one sessions with the youth, and sessions that involve both the caregiver(s) and the youth. Each family member plays a vital role in achieving the family's long-term objectives.
In addition to personalized sessions, Jadivan offers a Caregivers Support Group (intended for caregivers of children under 18). Further details can be found under the 'Groups and Classes' section.
